You can explore and live in endlessly-generated environments with vast open spaces and a myriad of enemies and dungeons. You can explore without being told where to go, build incredible dirt mansions or even dig a hole to hide from the mobs. Everything that happens is down to the player.
There are two primary game modes: Survival, in which you have to explore the world, battle enemies, find food, build an apartment and more; and Creative, in which you have unlimited resources and the ability to construct anything you can imagine.
Every single block in the world can be destroyed by mining, then gathered and arranged on a table of crafting to make new blocks, amour, tools and even machines.
On the Java Edition of Minecraft there is a huge community of modders for Minecraft, with vast amounts of additional content you can install on your server. There are over 300 modpacks you can install with just one click from our control panel. If the modpack you'd like play is not listed please let us know! We'll install it.
